This dahlia originated right here at Burfoot Flowers, and was released in 2024!
Eva has a lot going for her, with beautiful 3-4” peachy blooms that are upward facing with picottee edging on each petal. Centers are consistently closed or green. The plant is 4’ tall and doesn’t require disbudding. The stems are perfect for bouquets. Eva is a mid-season bloomer in my PNW garden, and always steals the show as fall rolls around.
BF Eva doesn’t seem to create pollen or seed, meaning that it lasts in the vase MUCH longer than most dahlias! Eva is a cut-flower workhorse here at Burfoot Flowers. We received great feedback about Eva from our friends and customers who grew hwer in different climates! Full sun growing conditions bring out Eva’s rich peach coloring, with shadier conditions showing softer hues.
