Summer CSA 2024

from $90.00
sold out

The Burfoot Flowers Summer CSA membership is a subscription to our premium, artfully arranged mixed bouquets.

Our blooms are grown right here in Thurston county, with 1/10th the carbon emissions of imported flowers, and grown without the use of pesticides, herbicides or harsh chemicals. Your membership supports our small business and connects you to super fresh flowers all season long.

Your CSA membership includes:

  • Choose 3 or 6 big premium mixed bouquets, filled with a diverse mix of dahlias, specialty foliage, unique annual and perennial flowers— all grown right here at Burfoot Flowers!

  • Pick up from Burfoot Flowers in the Boston Harbor Neighborhood

  • Bouquets are vase-ready and beautifully presented in tissue paper and brown paper

  • Bouquet care tips for making them last in the vase

  • Early access to my seed and dahlia tuber sales, a community of local flower friends, and more

These premium mixed bouquets are my creative outlet and I love spending time specially creating each one. They are generously sized, with a minimum of 18-20 stems. One of the best things about being part of the CSA is when I have extras, I send them home with you, so our CSA bouquets are often larger than the minimum! Colors and ingredients will vary throughout the season, and I always try to provide two different styles to choose from in each drop.

Flowers are estimated to begin mid August, and your bouquets will be scheduled weekly or every other week (6 or 3 bouquets), through the end of September or early October depending on weather. Members will be alerted to the pick-up schedule in July by email. If need be, the schedule will be adjusted to ensure you get the freshest, highest quality cuts.

If you are unable to pick up your bouquet, you have options:

  1. Once per season, with at least 2 days advanced notice, you can schedule an individual pick up from Burfoot Flowers in the Boston Harbor neighborhood. I need at least 2 days notice so I know not to harvest your flowers or make your bouquet!

  2. If something comes up last minute, you can have someone else pick up your bouquet for you, which is a lovely gift!
