Cosmos 'Apricot Rose' 2025 Mix - Limit 1

This is the third year of an open breeding project seed mix centered around expanding on the wonderful cosmos variety Apricotta, through ongoing selection and isolation with some of my other favorite cosmos!

Because this is an "open" breeding project, you and I are growing the exact same batch of seed, and we find out together how the mix evolves each year depending on my selections. I find there are typically 2-4 distinct "looks" each year in the mix, and the photos shown are of the last season. This means that our 2025 Mix flowers will look similar to these photos, but are unlikely to be the same.

My goal for this mix is to play with the lovely warm pink coloring of Apricotta, and aim for larger, more ruffled blooms with petaloids, and delicate crimping.

*We had a very wet rainy summer this year, which led to a poor harvest of cosmos seed, with lower than usual germination rates, around 60%. I've doubled the number of seeds per packet this year and recommend you double-up your sowing -- i.e. 2 or 3 seeds per hole!*
